Frontend Development
Frontend development is the craft of turning designs into the fast, interactive pages people actually use in their browser. At Developer of Web, we build interfaces with React and Next.js that match your designs closely, load quickly, and stay usable for people who rely on keyboards or screen readers. We care about the details that make a site feel good: smooth interactions, sensible loading states, and layouts that hold up on every screen size. Our code is componentized and documented, so future changes are quick and low-risk. Whether you need a marketing site brought to life or a complex interface for a web app, we deliver front-end code that is clean, accessible, and ready to connect to any back end.

Is this the right service for you?
It usually is when one of these describes you:
- A product team with approved designs that need to become a fast, accessible interface
- A company with a backend or API that needs a modern front end
- A business whose current interface is slow, inconsistent or hard to change
- An agency that needs reliable React and Next.js capacity for client work
What's included
- Pixel-accurate build from your design files
- Reusable components structured for future changes
- Responsive layouts tested across screen sizes
- Accessibility work toward WCAG standards
- Fast load performance with optimized assets
- Smooth interactions and clear loading states
- Integration with your API or back end

Where the scope line sits
Fixed prices depend on clear boundaries. The left column is what a standard quote for this service covers; the right column is work we can add, but which is priced on its own.
| Covered by a standard quote | Priced separately |
|---|---|
| Design review and component planning | Design work (see website design) |
| Component library and shared styles | Backend or API changes (see backend development) |
| Every screen in the approved designs, responsive across breakpoints | Native mobile apps |
| Connection to your API or backend | Content entry beyond sample data |
| Accessibility work toward WCAG standards | A formal accessibility audit (available as an add-on) |
| Cross-browser and device testing, performance tuning | Hosting and third-party fees |
How we approach it
- Review. We go through the designs, flag missing states (loading, empty, error, mobile) and agree the component list. Output: a component inventory and a fixed price.
- Foundation. We set up the project, shared styles, typography and the base components so every screen inherits one system. Output: a living component library on staging.
- Screens. We build each screen to match the design closely, with responsive behavior and interaction states. Output: weekly staging builds reviewed against the designs.
- Connect. We wire the interface to your API, handle loading and error states, and make data flows predictable. Output: a working front end on real data.
- Test and tune. We test across browsers and devices, check keyboard and screen reader use, and optimize bundle size and load time. Output: a test report and a performance baseline.
What lands in your hands at the end
- Source in a Git repository with a documented build
- A component library, often with Storybook
- Responsive, accessible screens matching the approved designs
- API integration with typed contracts where possible
- Test notes for browsers, devices and accessibility
- A defect warranty period on the delivered work
React, Next.js or something lighter?
The framework should match the job. We do not default to the heaviest tool.
| Approach | Choose it when |
|---|---|
| Next.js | Public sites and applications that need SEO, fast first loads and server rendering. |
| React single-page application | Logged-in dashboards and tools where SEO does not matter and interaction is rich. |
| Static HTML and CSS with light JavaScript | Marketing pages where speed and simplicity beat interactivity. |
| Your existing framework | You already run Vue, Angular or another stack; we work in it rather than rewrite. |
Technologies we use
- React
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- Tailwind CSS
- CSS3
- HTML5
- Vite
- Storybook
What moves the price
There is no rate card for this service because the range is too wide to be honest about in one number. After a free call you get a fixed quote; these are the inputs that decide it.
- Number of screens and components. Each unique screen and each reusable component is built, connected and tested.
- Interaction complexity. Drag and drop, live filtering, charts and real-time updates take more work than static layouts.
- Design completeness. Missing states and breakpoints need design decisions before they can be coded.
- API readiness. A stable, documented API speeds the build; a changing one slows it.
- Accessibility and performance targets. Verified WCAG conformance and tight performance budgets add testing time.
The pricing page explains how we scope and quote. To get a written estimate, describe the project on the contact page.
Typical timeline
A marketing site front end takes 2 to 4 weeks. Application interfaces with many screens run 6 to 12 weeks.
- Design readiness.
- API stability and documentation.
- The number of interaction-heavy screens.
- Review speed.
What can go wrong, and how we prevent it
- Build drifts from design. Side-by-side review of each screen before moving on.
- Slow, heavy bundles. Performance budgets, code splitting and measurement on real devices.
- Inaccessible interface. Semantic markup, keyboard testing and screen reader checks during the build, not after.
An illustrative example
Illustrative only. A logistics startup has Figma designs for a 14-screen dispatcher dashboard and a working API. Review and foundation take one week, screens four weeks, API connection and state handling two weeks, testing and tuning one week: about eight weeks to a production-ready front end.
Why choose us
- Faithful builds that respect the approved design
- Accessible markup so more people can use your site
- Reusable components that keep future work fast
- Performance tuning for quick, responsive pages
- Clean code ready to connect to any back end
FAQ Answers
Frequently asked questions
React makes complex interfaces manageable, and Next.js adds fast page loads, good SEO defaults, and a strong structure for growth. Together they suit both marketing sites and web apps.
Yes. Give us your Figma or design files and we build screens that match them closely, flagging anything unclear before we start.
Yes. We build toward WCAG standards with proper semantics, keyboard support, and contrast checks so people using assistive tech can use your site.
Yes. We build the interface to agreed API contracts and coordinate with your back-end developers, or we can build the back end too if you prefer one team.
Speed is a priority. We optimize images, split code, and reduce unused work so pages load quickly, which helps both users and search rankings.
Yes. Agencies send designs and an API or CMS; we return a component inventory and fixed quote, build in your repository or ours, and deliver documented code your team can maintain.
Often, yes. We audit performance, accessibility and code structure, then fix the highest-value problems in place. If a rebuild is the honest answer, we say so before you spend on patches.
